Master of Philosophy - Science
The Master of Philosophy (MPhil) is an internationally recognised masters (by research) degree. Students
develop advanced skills in conducting independent and sustained research.
Within the Melbourne Graduate School of Science students are able to undertake this qualification in any
one of the schools and departments which are conducting research. Students are encouraged to contact schools
and departments directly to establish specific areas of potential research projects and locate a supervisor
prior to application.
