Explanation of terms
- An Information Systems degree requires that applicants have a prior academic background of a
Bachelor of Information Systems or equivalent degree.
- An equivalent degree usually includes approximately 60% of subjects in areas such as programming,
databases, systems analysis, organisational processes, electronic commerce, project management and
project implementation.
- There is much variation in the range of topics offered by institutions, and applications are
assessed on a case-by-case basis to determine if degrees have sufficient information systems content.
English language requirements
In addition to the course-specific requirements, all applicants must meet the University's
English language requirements.
